About Deoghar
Deoghar district is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state in eastern India, and Deoghar town is the administrative headquarters of this district. This district is known for the Baidyanath Jyotirlinga, one of the Jyotirlinga among 12 Jyotirlinga in India. This Jyotirlinga is also famous as manokamna Jyotirlinga.
This district is part of Santhal Pargana division. Deoghar district is located in the western portion of Santhal paraganas. It is bounded by Bhagalpur district in north, Dumka in south-east and Giridih in west. Jasidih junction which is on the main line of Howrah-Delhi route of Indian railway is main railway station. Apart from this, Baidyanathdham is also railway station which is near to Jyotirlinga Temple.
It is about 229 km from Patna (capital of Bihar) and 270 km from Ranchi (capital of Jharkhand) and about 315 km from Kolkata (capital of West Bengal). The climate of Deoghar is dry and congenial and Deoghar is considered as a health resort for eastern India. As it is Holy place of Lord Shiva, devotees across world comes here for worship.

About STPI Deoghar
STPI Deoghar is situated at Plot no: Ns.15 (Part), Industrial area, Jasidih, Deoghar. Foundation stone of this center has been laid by Hon’ble President Shri Pranab Mukherjee on 2nd April, 2017 and inauguration of this centre is done by Hon’ble Member of Parliament Dr. Nishikant Dubey on 16.02.2019.
Total Land area of STPI Deoghar is 3 acres. The building is of G+2 floors with total measuring area 43,749 Sqft. Out of total area around 25,000 Sqft space has been identified for incubation space to facilitate IT/ITeS industry by way of providing regulatory services like STP/EHTP scheme, Project Management Consultancy & Data Communication facilities including server colocation service.
The Built-up incubation space at ground floor is approx. 5000 Sqft for plug-n-play Innovative Start-ups Incubation of approx. 100 seats. At First Floor 10000 Sqft Incubation and at Second Floor-10100 Sqft Incubation space is being developed to incubate IT/ITeS & R&D Centres.
The size of semi furnish incubation rooms are available with min. 1110 Sq.Ft and max. 2000 Sq.Ft.
